To escape his past, Robert Abram, enlists in the military and is sent to France during the height of World War I. With the dark gun by his side, he tries to survive the horrors of the battle field. Bloody and wounded, he witnesses the strange forces the gun possesses and is forever changed. The saga continues as the dark gun goes to war.
