On the run from enemy soldiers, Samuel and his viper ally come up with a clever hideout to avoid capture. While they wait for the patrol to pass, they share their stories as to how they came to be in the tunnels.

Above ground, back in the jungle, Dustin and field medic, Nora Sterns, continue their search for Samuel. Along the way, they make a startling discovery that puts their own lives in peril.
